Front Royal

10/7/16-10/10/16 (Shenandoah National park experience) One the way- I’m on my way to Shenandoah National park that is in Virginia. I plan to stay for three days at one of the cabins in the park. It’s only 75 miles away from the bustle of Washington D.C. I hope that we get two do a lot of cool things like hiking and I hope to learn a lot more about it than I already know. I did a little research on my own to figure out what are the basics of the park, why it is a national park, and the usual weather for it this time of year. I learned that there are four distinct seasons. Its best known for its vibrant fall foliage. In the spring, wildflowers and trees are in full bloom. Summer has greens and welcome relief from the valley temperature while winter has dramatic changes, especially in temperature and snow. The Arrival - I arrived at the national park around seven pm so i decided to go check in at the rustic Lewis Mountain Cabins where I booked a cabin for my family and I. We got to the old rustic cabins which is what I love about the cabins. We got settled in and by that time everyone was tired so we went to lay down. Day 1- I was the first one up as usual so i decided to get everyone else up since i was really excited to get the day started. Once i finally got everyone out of bed we went to eat breakfast.
