    The daily recommended number of milligrams for cholesterol is 300 mg. While my intake of cholesterol was way below the recommended amount. For the sodium, the daily recommended amount is 2400 mg. My intake of sodium below the amount recommended as well. The Food Guide Pyramid has only a certain amount of servings that the average person should eat every day. While My plate servings depend on the age, sex, and level of physical activity. My opinion on the Food Guide Pyramid is that it doesn’t put enough thought into average person’s sex, age, and their physical activity. Cause the amount could be different for each person. Then the My plate recommendations have servings for different ages, sex, and what their physical activity would be. My lifestyle and emotional state affects my consumption greatly. I am very emotional and so at times I would binge eat, because of how I felt about my body. That I didn’t look good, because of my weight.
