Cartoons: Retro Versus Modern Many various generations would argue that the cartoons from their childhood are the best cartoons ever made. However, lets focus on more recent cartoon styles such as the 1990s and 2010s. Though I was born in the 90s I have little memory of the 90s so I am not obligated to say that I am a true 90s kid. I am more of a 2000s kid. So, now you’re probably thinking, she’s going to go with the 2010s cartoons being better. However, I did say 2000s; which is in the middle of the 1990s and 2010s. I feel that the 90s era of cartoons is a lot better than the 2010s. Why? Let me explain starting with the 2010s era. What makes the 2010s era less great than the 1990s era? Well, for one case the 2010s era reuses the comical or iconic jokes from other various cartoon eras. There is a lack of imagination and originality in the 2010 cartoons. For instance, in Teen Titans Go, a reboot cartoon of the original Teen Titans in the 2000s, the cartoon uses old elements from other cartoons and movies. One episode is evolved around the movie The Breakfast Club. Another was a crossover of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Also, another knockoff was of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is not the only cartoon to knock off other well-known and iconic shows and movies. The show The Amazing World of Gumball is also seen to evolve around ideas for episodes such as; one episode relating to narrations of the 90s cartoon As Told By Ginger. One episode even made a cameo of…

Hamlet’s actions throughout the play support this deceitful nature. His dual personalities are the foundation of his madness. There are many examples that illustrate how Hamlet’s deceitful nature results in a tragedy because of his inability to choose which role to play.      In Act One, Hamlet appears to be very straightforward in his actions and his role. When his mother questions him, Hamlet says, "Seems, madam? Nay it is. I know not…

“What law, you ask, do I satisfy with what I say?”—The Unwritten Law The title heroine’s famous defense speech in lines 995-1005 of Antigone has prompted the view that the play is extremely enigmatic. It is a passage that has been read with astonishment and demands detailed explanation. In her speech, Antigone provides what appears to be a reason for her burying her brother Polynices against the orders of her uncle and King, Creon. Antigone claims, however, that she would not have deliberately…

The smell of dead fish and fried dumplings engulfed my nostrils as I ventured off into a foreign territory. I was then immediately bombarded with musty, humid air and noticeably large advertisements hanging above my head, all written in Chinese. Then, as I was walking with my head towards the sky, taking in my surroundings, I was abruptly stopped by a man, whom was slender and of Asian descent. He shoved a catalogue, that had listings of different counterfeit purses, into my hands and motioned…

What is something about the system you deal with that you know but not many other people you come in contact with know? 2. How has the change between…
