    Historically the humanity has been conditioned to use fossil fuels and its derivatives, but the finitude of this natural resources incentive the development of new types of energy, mainly the renewable ones. In addition, the overwhelming of the atmosphere with carbon dioxide makes this new kind of energy a new hope because is commonly seen as the solution to the environmental problems. As a result, the benefits are considered the only point of view in many discussions about the theme, even though the drawbacks are significant and can be a barrier in the development of some energies like the solar. The benefits of the solar energy are commonly related to the natural resource characteristics, like the abundance and renewable capacity, which distinguish it from the traditional way of collecting energy. It is a common knowledge that Sun doesn’t stop shining, at least for more billion years, which means that the natural resource is not limitable like coal, nuclear energy and also the mineral gas. Also, according to the report of U.S. Department of Energy (2015), “The sun deposits 120,000 TW of radiation on the surface of the Earth, far exceeding human needs even in the most aggressive energy demand scenarios” which illustrates that the potential of this energy is immense if there is the ability to absorb it.
