Through viewing this, you can find out what type of machine my partner and I will use for our very own egg drop, and where you would see it contrasted in daily life. Withal, how gravity affects it and how drag, air resistance, and cushioning may help our device in landing. Additionally, you’ll find out our initial plan and how we believe it will help our egg survive the fall. The machine my partner and I are using has a strong, triangular foundation. This is made up out of popsicle sticks glued together for support. On top of the foundation, in the center, you will find the dixie cup, which will eventually carry the egg. Protecting the egg, we will attach the ten balloons with rubber bands and string, enclosing the egg completely for protection. Along with the balloons, popsicles framed upward will enforce the egg to stay inside of the structure when it reaches the ground, rather than bounce out of the side.
