Effective Classroom Management

I observed Mrs.Sal at Hodges Elementary, located in Balch Springs. Throughout the week I spent a total of 4 hours and 20 mins.The class consisted 17 students ranging from the ages of 10-12,the class consisted of one female teacher. Mrs. Sal’s has 17 students which involves 7 boys and 10 girls which adds up to 17 students in total.Overall the ratio to boys and girls is 7:10 which comes to show that the class is dominated by more females. She stopped the recording, and when I was within a foot from her desk, she told me quietly she had to check another classroom from across the hallway. If I need help from a teacher, I am not allowed to go that teacher even though den is supposed to be used for academic work.
