    In a small town of 1,000 people called Peanut in the state of Iowa, there is a girl the age of 19. Her name is Beth Rose; she is very intelligent, kind, and curious about the world. Beth wants to go to college and live her dream to become a mathematician but there is some obstacles she has to accomplish first. It is currently the year of 1962, the era where women have no rights in the world. Women cannot vote, have minimal rights, they are not allowed in many Ivy League colleges, are not allowed any professional jobs, and are getting poor pay. Beth was an activist herself against these things. She always puts her “foot down” and demands that she will have the rights that they will not give her just because she is a woman. All of the other girls looked up to her at school; Beth graduated with honors and first in her class. She wants to achieve her goal to be a mathematician, to do this she has to work harder in her community to get more support that she needs to go to college. A few years later (1967) Beth got all of her support from her community and got her associates degree from her local college in mathematics. Beth has soon realized that her real goal to be a mathematician is to help others solve Hilbert’s twenty-three problems. Some of the problems were already solved by some other mathematicians. Beth still needs to go to an Ivy League college to finish her mathematics degree to be able to help solve the problems. Beth has always had a dream of going to Princeton;…
