    flipped the letter over to open it but first noticed the Royal Seal imprinted in black ink on the back of the letter. “What the,” I softly whispered to myself. Slowly, not to rip the seal I opened the envelope to find a beautifully written letter. It was written in cursive a fancy kind of writing. The letter was written on terra-cotta paper. It was very expensive paper. Whoever sent this is rich I reminded myself. The paper had diamond black ink on it and was made out to my father. Since my dad was asleep I figured he would never know if I read it, after all it was made out to him and our family. As I started reading the letter I got utterly confused. From what I knew about our family all of my relatives are dead, but according to this letter that couldn't be entirely true. Hours passed until we were eating breakfast in the living room. It consisted of a slice of juicy watermelon and a dab of french vanilla yogurt. We took a while to eat because we've learned to savor our food. Mom and dad were talking about finances and how we might have to sell the house because we can't afford the taxes on it. They kept on arguing and I figured bringing up the letter might make them stop. I waited until there was a pause in their conversation. “We got a letter in the mail,” I straight out said. “What, when?” asked mom. “Today!” I said excitedly.
