authentic time of her life, she finally found herself. One day she was studying at the library and a shy English major had asked if the seat was taken. Court responded with, "it's all yours". She was glad to finally meet someone who did not strut (7) around with a egotistical attitude. Courtney got distracted and started looking around the room for inspiration. Her eyes landed on his literature books, the front of one book read Archie Faust, she guessed he was probably in a frat. The last name sounded very retiring (10) and familiar, maybe she heard it at orientation, the thought had slipped her mind. He got up and left but he left his Patagonia fleece, this confirmed he was in a frat. She could tell by the Vineyard Vines shirt and Chubbies also. She thought to herself,"I bet he's in Beta Epsilon Gamma Gamma Alpha Rho Sigma or Alpha Tau Omega". Courtney picked it up and looked for a 'if found please call number', she eventually found one and called him as she left the library. The phone rang for awhile, Archie picked up and said" Hi, it's Archie Faust, may I ask who's speaking?" Court responded with" It's Courtney Liccardi, you left your fleece at the library and i just wanted to call you to let you know that I have it. Arhcie stated, with an effervescent (10) tone, "How about we go to dinner for 7 tomorrow at Sake Hibachi House so I can get my fleece back while taking a gorgeous girl out for dinner. Does that sound fine with you?". Courtney was shocked but very flattered and…

The quote effectively creates a parallel for the two characters, because Faustus is asking a question to Mephastophilis which he cannot answer; the reason why Mephastophilis cannot answer the question is because Faustus does not know the answer. Moreover, Mephastophilis does not know the answer because Faustus does not have a connection with God -- whom could be used for the answer. That said, Faustus has created a caricature in the opposite form who he has full control over. The correlation…

This element is best exemplified through Faust’s inability to ascertain the information he so seeks through logical methods, resulting in his attempts to use magic and subsequent blood-pact…
