The Cultural Event I attended was, “Claflin University Hispanic Heritage Month 2016 Kick-Off Program.” This program was held outside of the Café in the Panther Plaza on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Today I attended a rehearsal event at East Los Angeles College. This particular event was a piano rehearsal by Andree Ann Deschenes and took place in the S2 recital hall on October 13 and lasted about one hour. She performed and discussed piano music by Darius Milhaud “Sausages do Brasil, op.67”, Ignacio Cervantes “Danzas Cubanas”, and Ernesto Lecuona “Andalucia Suite”.
