    Day 1 Today, my family and I went to Death Valley National Park. My dad had some vacation days from work so we used them to come. My sister wouldn’t stop asking “Are we there yet?” all the way here in our car. As soon as we got here we checked into a hotel to make sure we had somewhere to sleep. After that we went to get pamphlets so we would know more about the park. We learned that the park rangers recommend people not to bring pets because of the heat. “It’s a good thing we didn’t bring Sparky with us.” my mom joked. Tonight we went to the park to go look at all of the stars after dinner. I saw different constellations like the Big Dipper and Orion's belt. We came back to the hotel and I started doing my project on national parks that we had to do for Mrs. Wood, my english teacher. Day 2 Today was so much fun!
