Part 1 What is data compression? Data compression is where a file is made smaller by shortening code where it is similar. This is helpful when transmitting files over the net, or in general just saving space of a SSD or Normal Hard drive. Data compression comes in two forms: Lossless Compression: Lossless compression is where similar parts of a file, are compressed by their similarities, however, the frequency is recorded and can be uncompressed without losing any extra data. This is usually used for games found on a DVD, where you will run an .exe to extract all files that are compressed. Same for downloading the files online as it is more efficient than other methods. Lossy Compression: usually used in pictures, videos and sounds effects, by removing what the eye or ear can hear/see. This removes any unnecessary…

broadened. More configurations will prove the feasibility of this design beyond the double constraint system suggested in Chapter 5, allowing for additional flexibility. Last, the testing results are presented and discussed. This concept serves to be the final solution for the initial design problem and motivation of this paper, the flexible compressions column. It meets all design criteria, and was successfully implemented into the final warrior web design. A test setup was designed and…

Every conceivable problem that can happen with an engine has perhaps happened or will happen with the Duramax. The main problem was the aluminum block with the aluminum cylinder heads. Now a day’s, cars have blocks made from aluminum, and so are the heads, but they’re mixed with a stronger metal, or just in general made better. Duramax builds everything unwell. The aluminum heads on the Duramax went through head gaskets like no other. A head gasket goes around the cylinders and seals the gasses…

Result 4.1 Experimental Analysis The experimental work is carried out to evaluate the shear strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete deep beams without stirrups. For this 18 beams are cast. The beams are tested under two-point loading as per IS after 28 days curing. Fiber fraction is varied as 0%, 1.5% and 3%. The shear span-to-depth ratio (a/d ratio) for beams is kept as 0.60 for case-I and 0.74 for case-II. The cube compressive strength is estimated. The experimental results are…

3.4. Ternary systems MgO-SF-QF (MgO-SiO2-Quartz fillers) 3.4.1. Effect of crushed quartz filler on water reduction The idea of adding crushed quartz filler to M-S-H binder is inherited from replacement of Portland cement with quartz filler to improve the rheology of cement paste [25] due to the less water absorption and smooth texture of finely ground quartz particles. Fig. 9 described water reduction effect as adding crushed quartz filler (QF) to MgO-SiO2 binary system to maintain a fixed flow…

year, and that keeps our country’s infrastructure stable and secure.” (A Day). This quote shows us how important diesels and diesel mechanics are. Diesel engines are used in almost all of America’s transporting semis. They are very important to keep goods moving (Walke). The diesel engine is unique, it is nothing like a gasoline engine. One of its unique characteristics are the way it ignites the fuel. A gas engine ignites its fuel with a spark, a diesel engine ignites fuel through…
