    my brother, who had also joined us for work, followed him. A few seconds later, I had decided to follow my brother up the ladder. I climbed up the ladder with a perpetual pattern; left foot, then the right foot. But then, my brother had stalled in the middle of the ladder, and that is when I felt the shaking. Determined to go up the roof, I stood determined, and as my brother finally got to the roof, I followed him and had made it up the top. The view from the roof was amazing, I felt like I was at the apex of the world! The world around me became an amalgam of shades of the ruby and tangerine assimilating with the navy blue of dusk. It was amazing to see everything else from a bird’s eye view. I could see the bustling and clogged Dale Mabry Highway, with traffic stretching from a mile away. I could see the stores and businesses across the streets, I could hear the chirping parakeets over the boisterous noise of the traffic, and I could smell the savory aroma of Italian food coming from the nearby Macaroni Grill. When I went down, it was easier than going up, all I had to do was reverse my steps. If anything, the hardest part of that whole experience was leaving it. After managing to climb the ladder with ease, I wondered why I could not do it before although I had the ability. To answer this, I came up with two reasons.
