As the days had come and gone Evelyn lost Mrs. Threadgoode on Easter when she went to the grave she saw everyone. Buddy, Idgies older brother who loved her more than any woman besides Eva the woman of everyman’s dream that lived down at Wagon Wheel Clud, as buddy was taken by the train Idgie was taken from the world. She ran off and the only one she ever loved after that was Ruth. Ruth and Idgie did everything together and when Idgie went in and told Frank Bennett she would kill him in front of everyone, they sure all believed she had done it. But it could have also been the hidden hobo Smokey the man head over hills for Ruth Jamison that would have done anything for her. As Evelyn went on in her life she learned to love herself all thanks to Mrs. Threadgoode. The funny part is no one ever really knew what happened to Idgie after Ruth passed away and Buddy grew up.
