    Cuttlefish are extremely intelligent animals with very small brains. There ways of survival have worked for them for countless years. Cuttlefish are mollusks are invertebrate of a large phylum that includes snails, slugs, mussels, and octopuses. They have a soft, unsegmented body and live in aquatic or damp habitats, and most kinds have an external calcareous shell. Cuttlefish are expectedly cousins with squids and octopuses. Cuttlefish release ink when they want to retreat or evade a common predator. Cuttlefish have camouflage cells located in their layers of skin. They have layers of skin that help with their reflective skin. Cuttlefish change color, pattern, and shape in the blink of an eye to catch prey or hide from predators. The top layer of a cuttle fish gives you the pattens the skin is layered its red, yellow, and brown. The second layer of a cuttlefish is made of deeper iridescent colored reflecting cells.
