After the glaciers melted a long time ago, the water rose to 1,000 feet deeper. What used to be beaches and islands are now just underwater structures. There is evidence proving that the water level used to be lower, 1,000 feet lower. They have discovered underwater caves with stalactites, icicle looking mineral formations formed by dripping water, hanging from the ceiling.
