They play in the park, on the beach, and even in the street. To the layman, the game can seem a bit complicated, but it 's quite easy to understand once people know the basics. Fans have different ways to show their emotions like fighting with the friend during a match and after a game. Rich, poor, young, and old, this ancient 16th-century game unites and motivates people from all countries and cultures. Depending on the format, the game of cricket can last hours, a day, and in the case of test cricket; after five days. “The test cricket means a cricket match with play spread over five days with illimitable overs played between two senior international teams.” (Hand, n.d.) The ground rules or laws, known in cricket are always the same. Cricket is played on a grass field with a specially prepared rectangular playing surface in the center.
