Prosecution team were more focused on whether he could be declared insane and thus remitted to a mental hospital Gacy told police alternate personality committed the murders. Mental Health professionals testified for both sides of Gacy 's mental health. John Gacy Was found guilty of 33 murders, he became known as one of the most vicious serial killers in U.S. history. He was sentenced to 12 death sentences and 21 natural life sentences and was imprisoned at the Menard Correctional Center for almost a decade in a half. Later Gacy denied committing the murders, Gacy died by lethal injection on May 10th, 1994 at the Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, Illinois. The Cannibal Killer, Jeffrey Dahmer born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin May 21st,1960, parents Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. Normal, happy boy until age 6 when a minor surgery to correct a double hernia, after a change in little Jeffrey he became increasingly insular and lacking in self confidence. Father got a new job which made the whole family move to Ohio. Dahmer 's insecurities deepened by early teens he was disengage, friendless. He claims that his compulsions for necrophilia and murder began at age 14 after the devastating divorce of his parents and all the stress made it to where he turned his dark thoughts into reality.
