    Some people may be afraid of swimming underwater, the dark, or even loud noises. A common fear that has resurfaced and become more prominent is coulrophobia, most commonly known as the extreme fear of clowns. The massive fear of clowns typically, but not always begins when a person is a young child. This condition can cause one to experience a lot of anxiety, which can be caused by an excessive feeling of fear. This can cause one to experience abnormal heartbeat, a shortness of breath, and even cause them to tremble. (Symptoms of Coulrophobia). It can be developed from things a person sees that has to do with clowns. Such as horror movies. Many people expect that young children will love the circus, especially with all the comedy the clowns are supposed to bestow on the audience. However, that is not always the case.
