    More than 12,000 people die of homicides due to gun violence each year. Gun violence is a form of violence that has the use of a gun. Some forms of gun violence are suicide, intentional homicide, or even domestic abuse. One of the amendments states that you have the right to carry a gun. When a person kills someone they should lose the right to carry a gun. Gun violence can have many effects, especially towards children. Children who are exposed to gun violence later get negative psychological effects like trauma. Some people who die are children or teens under the age of 20. An average of seven children died each day due to gun violence. Every time a person is killed it costs almost $400,000 to pay for the police, ambulance, hospital, court, and prison. A comparison was made to see the difference of the deaths occurred by gun violence in the UK and the US in 2014. In the United KIngdom, there are about 50 to 60 deaths annually. In the United States, there is about 160 times more deaths, about 8,124 homicides in 2014. There are more than 55 million gun owners in the US. from gun violence. A gun owner has an average of 3 guns or firearms. The number of guns has gone up by 70 million guns. Making responsible decisions and helping others who might want people to suffer can help the community to heal from gun violence.
