    been working in the field for more than twenty years. However, he did not study anything about computer or I.T in college, he was instead an electrical engineering major student. He was an electronic technician after he graduated from college, and worked as an electronic technician for more than 10 years before he changed his career path. Dave found his interest in I.T field during the personal computer rising period. This period was the time that computer manufacturers tried to sell computer to family. In Dave’s case, he decided to spend some time after work to study about the new personal computer, and he even bought one with almost all his money. It was a crazy idea but Dave did it because he was interested in this new personal computer as he said. In the interview, Dave also told me, “if you find your interest in I.T, you should let your interest become your teacher. I am the successful example of this theory.” In his career path, Dave was not a network system analyst or any I.T position at the beginning. He was an electronic technician at first, and his job was maintained equipment. Dave spent his first half of career on electronic technician until he got an offer from SJSU. The offer was for his electric profession not I.T. However, after eight hard working years, Dave got his major career opportunity from his boss.
