Probably the two biggest things I’ve learned from taking English 1010 is summarization and citation. At the beginning of the class, I struggled with not trying to make my summaries sound like lists. As I kept practicing, I learned how to reflect my writing style and voice into my summaries, while still being able to effectively get the point of the original source across.
