I was conducting diagnostic and repairs on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado ZR1 6.0 Y pickup truck. One of my family members was complaining of a cylinder misfire on cylinders 1 and 6. My family member had already replaced plugs, wires, fuel injectors and coils associated with the cylinder and the cylinder misfire persisted. Once I was informed of this information I was instantly concerned of some form of internal engine failure. I will cover the series of events that happened during this repair to this 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. I took on the repair even though I was inadequately prepared for the task. I lacked the proper diagnostic tools and knowledge to properly diagnose the problem that was troubling the vehicle. order and delivers it to the service garage that need the part. The hub uses to be an old auto part store before Walser bought it and was the best place I ever worked at. The Hub is located in South St Paul, right next to Inver Grove Heights and Newport. When you pull up into the parking lot and enter the building, you walk into this ginormous warehouse. Directly to your right there were tons of shelves full of parts. Wheel bearings, brake pads, pistons, wheel rotors they had it all. The shelves…

Chevrolet began its inception in the automobile industry in 1911 with the goal of competing with Ford’s Model T. Because of some differences among the Chevrolet company owners, Louis Chevrolet eventually left the company; however, the name endured. Chevrolet was purchased by GM Motors in 1918 (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). The initial goal to compete with the Model T came to fruition in 1915 when Chevrolet sold its first vehicle for $490.00, which was the same price as Ford’s Model T. The diverse…

I have always thought the square body Chevy was the best truck because it didn’t really have a challenge with the Ford F150 or Ford F100. The roundness of the Ford trucks don’t really appeal to me. The Ford F-150 is an advanced truck. It uses Aluminum body panels instead of steel and paired with its base engine it should leave the traditional Chevy Silverado 1500 in the dust, yet it doesn't. When it comes to the arrangement and features provided for the interior of the vehicle, it is definitely…

This something I have written quite a bit about, and I can honestly say it is the most overtly immoral move I have ever seen a company make. In 2002, a supplier denounces the proposed ignition switches…
