On Wednesday, 9/7/16, UNCW held its ‘Concert on the Commons Series. I had the opportunity to enjoy this event during my lunch break between classes at the fisher center. The Fall In 2010, I was eight years old. I was a dedicated student, and gymnastics was my passion outside of school. I was a good gymnast but my height crippled me more times than one. Last year around the end of the year, right before nationals, I got hit in the head and got a concussion. When I got my concussion, I was at baton practice. We had run through all of our team routines. Usually, after practicing twirl teams, we work on solo tricks. Each practice we have one specific solo trick that we focus on and practice. This year the Rock Port High School football and basketball cheerleaders hosted a cheer clinic for elementary girls. Preschool through sixth grade girls were invited to attend cheer camp. The cheerleaders made up a dance for the girls to learn during the practices. The elementary girls had practice on Saturday, October 1st; Thursday, October 6th; and Friday, October 7th. On my birthday last year, 2015, I got tickets to a college gymnastics meet. Not just any team, my favorite team.. MIZZOU!
