Chucktown Squash is an afterschool program that provides a unique blend of physical and educational activities that allows students to excel in the classroom and the world. It all started in 2010 when a group of people in the community became aware of the lack of beneficial afterschool programs in the area. “In Charleston, more than 1700 children lack daily supervision after-school, during the hours of 3:00-6:00pm”(Chucktown Squash).
