150 mL, and when the egg was taken out, the volume decreased to 130 mL. This proves that some of the distilled water that was in the beaker passed through the cell membrane and into the egg, which explains why the mass of the mass increased, while the volume of water decreased. The distilled water didn’t have any minerals or gunk that prevented it from going through the cell membrane easily, while the liquid that was in the egg must of had larger molecules, which made it harder for the liquid inside the egg to pass through the cell membrane into the beaker. A possible error that could’ve occurred during the experiment was if the measurements of the circumferences and masses were incorrect. Some of the before and afters were less than two grams or centimeters apart and if those weren’t measured carefully enough then our hypothesis wouldn’t have been able to be proven. Another error that could’ve been made was during the process of taking the egg out of the solution or liquid it’s in, especially after leaving the egg in syrup. The removal of the egg could have taken out part of the solution/liquid, which would have altered the volume in the beaker. It also would have altered the mass of the egg slightly because the triple beam balance would mass the container, egg, and extra syrup. If people weren’t to careful about making sure that the egg hadn’t removed too much solution/liquid it could have a negative effect on the lab. A possible improvement that could be changed to…

Methods This experiment was designed to test the sizes of bubbles made in different situations. The dome bubble test was used to measure the height and diameter of bubbles made from each solution. The free-floating bubble test was created to test the diameter of bubbles. All of this was done in order to test the size and durability of Tantrum Toys’ new bubble solution against other commercially available solutions. In the dome bubble procedure my group collected 80 milliliters of bubble…

the German mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss to base an arrangement of supreme units on the three essential units of length, mass and time. Gauss picked the units of millimeter, milligram and second The centimetre–gram–second arrangement of units (truncated CGS or cgs) is a variation of the metric framework taking into account the centimeter as the unit of length, the gram as the unit of mass, and the second as the unit of time. All CGS mechanical units are unambiguously gotten from these…
