Gossip Girl (CW, 2007-2012) is a drama television series about a group of fictional wealthy teenagers living on the Upper East Side in New York City. It is based off of a book series by Cecily Von Ziegesar. Though the characters all attend the same prep school, the show mostly focuses on what they do in their non-academic lives. This is due to the controversial topics that are included in each episode, such as pregnancy scares, suicide attempts, drug addictions, and affairs. Every scandal that the characters become embroiled in ends up on a notorious blog run by “Gossip Girl,” a mysterious character who is only revealed in the…

He is familiar with the settings of his novels…

argue Germany should not be blamed for World War I. However, although it can be conceded that Germany’s allies motivated Germany to fight, Germany should be blamed for World War I because it was broadly responsible for the formation of the very alliances that led to it, and other countries, into joining the war. Under the guidance of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, Germany rapidly gained power after its unification in 1871. However, Germany 's role as a growing European power allowed it to upset…

Finding Style An author 's style is like his or her signature. It stems from their unique combination of literary elements, and how they weave these aspects into their work. Authors ' styles can be near indistinguishable or the complete antithesis of each other, as in the case of William Faulkner and Ernest Hemingway.
