Catacombs of Paris

The concept of human futility is a strong theme within both “There Will Come Soft Rains” by Ray Bradbury and “The Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe as well as the Disney movie “Atlantis the Lost Empire”. Within each of these stories the authors, and creators bring a lot of wonderfully crafted themes to the text, but the most persistent ideal in each of these stories is that humans will fail in the end despite whatever efforts they use to attempt to avoid failure.
