Walter Jacobs began The Hertz Corporation in 1918, in 1923 John Hertz brought over the company from Jacobs but he Jacobs still remained in the company until his retirement (Hertz Corporation, 2015). Hertz’s stock ticket symbol is “NYSE: HTZ” and the NAICS Code is 53211101, Passenger Car Rental (Manta, 2015). Hertz is in the industry of automobile rental and leasing services. Hertz’s headquarter right now is located in Park Ridge, New Jersey, which later on will relocate this year to Estero, Florida. Stated by NBS reporter Roetz (2015), it’s an undertaking that’s been two years in the making—moving hundreds of employees from northern New Jersey to South Florida.
