    Who really was Captain America, the man of the shield? Steve Rogers who later becomes known as Captain America goes through a transformation of being an ordinary man to becoming a well known super hero who saves the world from it’s ultimate demise. We will see the transformation of this man as he changes in Captain America the first Avenger. Steve rogers who will later on become know as Captain America lived in New York during the time of World War II. Steve rogers’ parents served in the army and both were killed in action his mother was a nurse, and Steve’s father was a soldier. Steve tried enlisting in the army five times and was rejected because rogers was a sickly man of only about ninety pounds. On steves sixth try Dr. Abraham Erskine who represented the strategic scientific research for the United States gives him a chance to become a soldier and serve in the United States army.
