He missed his family and friends back home, but was enjoying the beginning of his new journey at Liberty. John escaped the cold air before he got hypothermia as he entered the cafeteria. The double automatic doors welcomed him, he secretly thanked the air conditioning systems at the school for blessing him with warmth. He cuddled his body closer to his jacket and looked around the cafe only to find a few people, sitting quietly, enjoying their meals. The cafe was huge with thousands of chairs and tables scattered around. His shoes squeaked as he walked up to the buffet to fulfill his raging stomach. He picked up a tray from the stack and started picking out his meal for the night. Hot and spicy chicken tenders, pizza and a regular cup of coke filled his plate. He swiped his ID to pay for his meal, the machine beeped in conformation. John’s eyes, scanned the cafe looking for a comfortable place to enjoy his meal in peace. A girl, who he has seen around but never got the chance to talk to, caught his eyes. Brianna sat at the corner of a small table with her blue eyes gazing across the screen of her laptop.
