    leaving Ravensbruck, Corrie hit many bumps that keep causing her return back to Haarlem to become more delayed. Describe the bumps that Corrie experiences. Be sure to discuss why she did not pass the medical examination the first time, what she was thinking about when going through the medical examination, the papers she had to sign to leave the camp, and all the troubles she encountered with trains taking her back home. Also be sure to include why Corrie was released from the concentration camp, why this release day was a coincidence, and what happened to all the other people of her age the week after she had been released. Corrie hits many bumps on her release and return back to Haarlem. The first bump is that she could not pass the medical examination because her legs were too swollen, causing her to have to wait until the swelling went down to be released. The second bump is that all she can think about this entire time is her dead sister, Betsie. Corrie keeps coming up with ifs and buts to how Betsie would never have been able to pass the examination to be released. The third bump Corrie encounters is having to sign her release papers. The release papers said that she had been well-fed and had lived in a decent environment. This paper stated terms that were completely incorrect, but in fear of not being able to be released, and being sent back into the camp, Corrie signed the papers.
