Many people believe one needs to be selfish in order survive the obstacles life gives. However, a closer look into people’s decisions shows that not all acts of survival are selfish. Survival does not require selfishness because it is not selfish to protect oneself and at times it can mean making a life or death decision. Ensuring one’s survival is never a selfish act. When the thoughts of his children and wife came into his head he knew that he needed to escape from the building. He did not act selfishly because everyone had the same opportunity as he did. Similarly, “When Antoine de Saint-Exupery was lost in the Lybian desert, it was the thought of his wife’s suffering that kept him going” (Gonzales 332). There were people around him who were giving up and he didn’t let their despair and suffering influence his survival instinct. Using the memories of loved ones to help ensure survival is not selfish. Survival requires a person to make important life changing decisions. In most cases this decision can determine whether a person live or dies. Simon Yates…

For example, while wild boar hunting, you are often shooting at many moving targets, so having a faster fire rate with higher magazine capacity makes it easier. Wild boar hunting is also something that helps our country…
