an understanding of the haunting circumstances she is in, succeeds where the other girls failed. The confrontation between the Beast and Casey is disturbing as she displays her scars of self-harm to it, and it recognises in some sort of allied spirit leaving her alone and rushing off into the night. The final scene ends with Casey admitting to the abuse that she has gone through contrasting Kevin who kept his abuse secret. However, the disturbing ending scenes to the main plot of the movie is not the surprising twist that occurs. After the main plot ends, the film cuts to a diner where two young girls are discussing Casey’s survival saying ‘The Hordes’ reminds them of a prior criminal who was in a wheelchair.
