Marinette whispered seductively at the bartender. “Sure, dollface! This one is on the house,” The bartender replied with a wink and Marinette blew him a kiss as a thank you. Marinette handed Alya another cocktail, which earned Marinette a dramatic applause from her friend. “Alright, Marinette. You’re becoming quite a Doll, I am so proud of you!” Alya gushed as she took her drink from Marinette’s hand. “I didn’t even know where that came from, Alya? I wished I could be confident like that all of the time.” Marinette sighed with a frown. “Do you wanna dance?” Alya asked. She hoped it would turn Marinette’s frown upside down. “Sure!” Marinette exclaimed before they faded themselves into the bodies of dancers. Red Hot Mama by The Brox Sisters blared throughout the fancy shmancy record player. Alya and Marinette found themselves swept away by the music. Marinette tapped her black flats against the floorboard to stay in keen with the piano in the background.
