    From dishwashers to servers, manager to chef, there are many different jobs in the culinary world. One of the few professions that you can start out at the bottom and work your way to the top is the culinary world. What are some culinary careers? In the culinary field there are numerous jobs a person could have, some are chef jobs, some are baking jobs, then there are the other misalliances culinary jobs. Without chefs we would never be able to go out to eat at restaurants. Some chef jobs you could have are, cafeteria chef, a private cook, sous chef, executive chef, or a short order cook. A few baking jobs are, cake baking, cake decorator, pastry chef, and professional bakers. Other jobs in the culinary field are, caterer, food preparation professional, a meal preparation professional, and a meat cutter. Only a small fraction of the careers in the culinary world were just named, that shows the variety of jobs you could choose form in just the culinary field. What are the education requirements? Formal education is not required for most culinary careers, although it is commonly recommended. The degrees available in culinary school are, the bachelor's degree which is four years long, a associates degree which takes two years, or a certificate which takes as little as eight months. Work in the culinary field is usually recommended before attending culinary school. That means that you could just work or intern at a small restaurant or bakery, or work for a…
