The Difference we can see here in our Canadian, juridical court system compared to Germany is that we have laws here in Canada that protects us from any unfair treatment which is written in the Canadian charter of freedom. Which states in section 12 “everyone has the right to not to be subjected to any cruel l or unusual punishment which was clearly violated during the Holocaust, another law that protect us is found in Canada’s fundamental freedom section 2(A) “freedom of conscience and religion “Canadian law values as time evolves such as demographic changes, technologies and changes in value . If the Klaus Barbie trial took place here in Canada, less time would have been wasted on making the final decisions with strong physical evidence and testimonies.
