On Sunday June 12th, I attended the Oklahoma Community Orchestra Concert. This event took place at the Oklahoma Christian University Pavilion. Prior to the 19th century, the trumpet was simply a long brass tube with a bell and mouthpiece that we refer to today as the natural or Baroque trumpet.
