    Feeling somewhat depressed or blue is something that any human being can understand and relate to. Another commonly used term for it is feeling like a Monday. “Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night” is a single by American Rock band Bon Jovi, and taken from their greatest hits album Cross Road. The song writer is John Francis Bongiovi, Jr. also known as Bon Jovi, Jr who was born on March 2nd, 1962. This is a very profound song about optimism in the face of adversity. The first couple of song’s verse introduces the characters of unemployed Jim who struggles and is forced to sleep in his car, and Billie-Jean who was abused by her foster father and has turned to prostitution at the age of sixteen. The song refers to life, luck and survival, looking forward to when times are better never losing hope or optimism. In the beginning, the song talks about taking one day and night at a time meaning to keep calm and to stay positive. The first two lines of the song read: “Hey, man I’m alive I’m takin’ each day and night at a time/ I’m feelin’ like a Monday but someday I’ll be Saturday night.” In these two lines of the piece the writes is very clear and…
