    Growing up, I was always surrounded by inspiring well-rounded people. My introduction into medicine came at an early age. My entire family line, including my parents, are all nurses and doctors. I have been inspired to take the medical route since I was a child. The most I knew about science was from the Magic School Bus and Bill Nye the science guy. Even though I knew little about that subject other than being surrounded by scrub suits all the time, I couldn’t see myself pursuing any other field than medicine.
