    Our project is centered around solving problems that stem from bicycle traffic on campus. We are primarily concerned with the constant overcrowding of bike racks around campus. We believe this is a result of the large number of students who enjoy riding bikes and use them to quickly navigate the campus. While bike traffic might not seem like a problem at first, if you take into account how many bikes are registered each year and how widely student’s schedules vary, the result is that very few bicycles are in commute at a time. It can therefore be concluded that since only a small number of bikes are in commute at a time, that at any given time there are also a significant number of bikes that are occupying spots at bike racks around campus.…
