In 1955 the Hilprecht Collection, which contained 2500 tablets and fragments, were studied and translated. Although 2500 pieces have been found only 150 were literary works. The multiple fragments found only have a few undisturbed lines, but 50 tablets are in good condition, displaying several complete lines.
