Being biased means favoring or being against something. The person being biased has a way of thinking that will not change and will not admit when are wrong. Whatever beliefs people have they tend to convince or push the thoughts and beliefs to others. Many people have felt or experienced the bias in the media. John Stossel himself was a affected by the bias found in the media. His career ended in ABC News in October of 2009, but soon in December of the same year he started working for Fox News. Another person who lost their job due to the bias in the media was Bernard Goldberg, who worked for CBS News. While working for CBS News he wrote a book which became a number one seller Bias: A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News, and allowed the public to see the truth behind journalism. Media sources like CBS disliked this books because the truth was being exposed. Goldberg’s book, made many question and analyze the news. After the publication of the book he joined Fox News where he now expresses his ideas with more freedom. A journalist’s job is to write out happenings in order to inform the general public.
