has been proved that you can sometimes not see the most obvious things. In 2006 Ben Roethlisberger was twenty-three and had just become the youngest quarterback in NFL history to win a Super Bowl. During the offseason, Roethlisberger was involved in an accident with Martha Fleishman. Both drivers had green lights. Fleishman turned left, cutting off Roethlisberger and his motorcycle. Roethlisberger was required seven hours of emergency surgery and was lucky to be alive, considering he was not wearing a helmet. Accidents like these are more common than they should be. Many motorcyclists say that the driver of the car was staring right at them as they turned into them, while the car driver says they never saw the motorcyclist. Our minds function in all sorts of different ways and people are trying to figure it out every day. I think that the human mind tricks us all the time. Occasionally I will think that what I see is what was actually there, but somebody else says they see something different. Every day people believe that they see everything that is in front of them, when in reality they might not see the most obvious things. I remember one time that my mom was in a car accident almost the same as the Ben Roethlisberger accident. She was at a stop sign and did not see the other car at the stop…
