Mammoth Lakes is a beautiful resort town located in the Eastern Sierra Nevada. The town was officially incorporated in 1984, but has been a hub for outdoor recreation since the late 1800’s. It was originally known as Mammoth City a small mining camp founded by the Mammoth Mining Company in 1878.
