    About Fairview The picturesque town of Fairview, incorporated 1958, is home to a population of almost 9,000. The inviting small-town community is known for its large homes on expansive lots and equestrian estates, as well as its extensive proliferation of open spaces, including its scenic rolling hills, creeks and woodlands. Fairview's History Fairview was incorporated in 1958 when a petition with over 30 signatures requested an incorporation election for Fairview. On May 7, 1958, the election was held in the Fairview Grocery. The support for incorporation was almost unanimous. On May 12, 1958, the town's order for incorporation was signed by Jude Button. Life in Fairview The town of Fairview is a small but progressive community located in Collin County, Texas. The town, incorporated in 1958, remained an isolated and quiet community for many years. However, in recent years the town has known unprecedented growth. The quiet character of the town sets the community apart from others located in the DFW metroplex. Despite its small town size, Fairview offers residents a highly desireable mix of small-town charm and big city amenities. In recent decades many DFW residents are choosing to relocate to Fairview. The town,prized for its economic opportunities, is also well loved for its down-home country feel.
