    Babesiosis, it isn't something that you hear about often, that's because not a lot of people know what it is or that it exists. This disease is a bloodborne pathogen that is spread through deer ticks that are infected with Babesi microti. However this disease can easily be detected and normally resolves on its own and is not a serious illness, but it is extremely useful to know symptoms and treatment. As previously stated, Babesiosis is transmitted by ticks that are infected with the pathogen, and infects the red blood cells. This pathogen is not deadly and typically resolves on its own because many people are asymptomatic, or do not develop symptoms. Some people do develop symptoms though, such as: fever, chills, fatigue, nausea, chills, night sweats, body aches, headaches, and loss of appetite.
