In 2014, and the year I was fourteen years old, coincidentally, I went on a long trip out of the country. I visited four countries if I remember. It was England, Netherlands, France, and India. Some of this trip was for tourism purposes and some of it was just for meeting family and having a great time. So the first place I went to was London, England. I remember arriving into London Heathrow Airport and having such a great feeling of excitement. It’s been such a long time since I visited London and now I’m here to see the city again. I arrive at the airport, go through security and customs, and all that boring nonsense that any fourteen years old would care less about. My parents called for a cab and I was on my way to see my grandparents. The cab ride was long, but seeing the city was great. I saw all these pale white buildings, these billboards of ad’s I’ve never seen before, all these people with such fancy clothes and rich cologne on. It was as if I’m seeing the city where everyone has it all, like money, clothes, and a big flat to live in. The city was busy and loud and I could see people everywhere, then I arrived at my grandparents flat. My grandparents reside in a small village called Child’s Hill, which is a part of an even larger village called Hampstead, which is in the city of London.
