    Atlantis: The Lost Empire is a film made by Disney in 2001, and it shows the journey of Milo Thatch, a cartographer, linguist and an expert in almost all things Atlantean. He, with a group of mismatched peers, including a expert in engines, and one in demolition, a geologist and a medical officer, set off to find the ruins of Atlantis, a country that to be only a legend since it was swept away by a flood, and they are going to prove it really once existed. Most of the group, unbeknownst to Milo, are after a seemingly infinite power source that was foretold in many of the different depictions of Atlantis.
