    Have you ever changed to something different in your life? Well that’s what Alex Rider is dealing with he has stuck with a certain organization for many years. He now had an urgent feeling to switch to the bad side. My book Alex Rider Scorpia starts off with an investigation. Alex Rider the young, brave, and intelligent spy is sent on a mission to Venice to investigate an organization called Scorpia. Scorpia is an organization that carries out acts of terrorism to get money: “ We are a group of terrorists that get money to carry out acts of terrorism” (Horowitz 25). Alex manages to sneak into a party hosted by Julia Rothman an executive member of scorpia. Alex discovers that the organization is linked to a pharmaceutical company called Consanto enterprises. Before Alex can blink he is confronted by a scorpia agent named Nile who had an inkling that Alex was up to no good. Nile grabs Alex and locks him in a room that will flood as the Venice tide increases almost drowning him Alex manages to escape into the Grand Canal. With the help of Jerry, who is one of Alex’s partners gives him a parachute Alen then jumps Consanto Enterprises. From there Alex is confronted by Dr. Liebermann who is the head Scorpia. Nile shows up and kills Liebermann and offers to take Alex to see Rothman. In the middle of having dinner with her she then explains to Alex how his dad used to be a Scorpia agent. M16 had told Alex that his dad had died in a plane crash, but that is not what happened.…
